How car transport works
We pick the car up from your home, inspect it with you and note every existing scratch and dent on an inspection report, with photos. The car is driven onto the carrier, locked in place with wheel chocks and straps, and driven to your city. At delivery, you check it against the same report before signing.
Car transport charges from Delhi
Shipping a hatchback or sedan costs about ₹6,500–11,000 for up to 500 km (for example Delhi to Jaipur or Chandigarh), and more for longer routes such as Delhi to Mumbai or Bangalore. SUVs and closed containers cost more. See car transport rates by distance.
Before you hand over the car
- Keep the fuel at a quarter tank or less.
- Remove valuables, FASTag-linked documents you need and loose items from the cabin and boot.
- Keep copies of the RC, insurance and PUC with the car; carry the originals with you.
- Note the odometer reading on the inspection report.
- If you will stay in the new state for more than 12 months, plan for re-registration or a BH-series number.
