What a tempo booking includes
Booking a tempo or mini truck (such as a Tata Ace) through an app or a local stand gets you a vehicle and a driver for a few hours. Loading help, packing material and furniture dismantling are usually extra or not available. It is good for moving a few cartons, a bed or an appliance a short distance, if you pack everything yourself.
What full-service packers and movers include
A full-service mover brings the packing material and a trained crew, packs everything in layers, dismantles and re-assembles furniture, loads, transports, unloads and helps you settle in. You pay more, but you are paying for packing quality, labour and responsibility for the goods.
A quick cost comparison
For a local move inside Delhi NCR, a tempo for a few hours may cost a couple of thousand rupees before labour and packing. A full-service 1 BHK move typically costs ₹3,500–10,000 and a 2 BHK ₹6,500–15,000, with packing, labour and transport included. See all packers and movers charges.
